BEST ESSO LT 71141 ATF

I used Maxlife Multi vehicle. Full syn. Did a flush on a Passat at 90k it took 11 quarts. About to do it again after 50K on the fluid.

As an example, the MB WA580 aka NAG1 calls for 71141 in all non-Chrysler applications, where as NAG1s all call for ATF+4. I've serviced an WA580 with a mix of a few specs, years ago. I don't recommend that (for liability reasons), but I'd wager 71141 isn't very specialized. Of course Mola would have the most qualified advice here.

Maxlife meets LT71141 standards

Castrol Full Synthetic ATF is another good choice

Is LT 71141 red or not? Some VW transmission fluids were not red in color, and in order to get the correct color, you could use Pentosin ATF1. Also, Blauparts sells Ravenol and sometimes it is a good deal. Even better is that they sometimes sell a kit which includes fluid, filters, and a fill tool depending on which VW you have.
