Good Afternoon Everyone, I have a 2003 GTP and am wondering which is the best oil for my car. My last oil change I used Havoline Supreme 10w-30. How do you feel about Quaker State Peak Performance? The oil has been changed twice so far. My driving is mostly a combo of city/highway and I drive about 1,000 miles a month. I don't beat on my car, but I do enjoy an occassional stomp on the gas when merging onto a highway. Any recommendations are appreciatted.....just curious....these days is there a big difference in oils? Thanks George I've been toying with synthetic

With a supercharged car, I'd highly recommend going with a synthetic, even if you only go full throttle occasionally. I ran Mobil 1 10w30 in my old 97 GTP, except in the winter I'd run Mobil 1 5w30. [ July 07, 2003, 03:55 PM: Message edited by: Patman ]

I also have a GTP. The L67 isn't too hard on oil so you could get by with any decent dino. Chevron Supreme amd Pennzoil Purebase get good feedback here based on UOA's. I prefer to use Mobil 1 10W-30 and my GTP has over 100kmi and has never run better. Oil consumption is negligable. (<1 qt over the 5000 mile change interval).
