I appear to have lost my cupholder mount, so now it has to haphazardly sit on the seat next to me.

I would ideally like a sticky pad, that can sit vertical on the dash to the right of me.. so I can have my cupholder back as well..

Best mounts? I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 so it is not too heavy.

My phone off the several vent holders that I tried. Either the phone fell off the magnet or the holder pulled out of the vent. The cupholder type is solid.

My backup plan is to buy another.

I had to trade cars with a family member two weeks ago and I just can't find it now.

If a better option exists, excellent. If not? That's okay too..

It is because I do not have this device that I will be posting Less on this trip.

Does anyone else have experience with sticky pads?

I don't know if this works for you, but I am a fan of these Scosche cigarette lighter mounts.

magnet inside the case, just set it on and no fumbling. I bought a small six or eight inch dark cord so it's clean and no long cords dangling around. It keeps it off the dash and the cockpit less cluttered. Depends upon where your 12V outlets are. The gooseneck is flexible so it can be vertical, horizontal, anything. When I get to it I'll put in a double DIN car play unit and toss the phone in the arm-rest, but in the mean time this is great. Also the refurb unit above is less than $10 shipped (use code "dontgo15" for extra discount).

Here's an example in one car (between the gear shift and wheel):

If that amount can charge the phone while driving I will buy it instantly...

Again, I am at (travel center, gassed up) presently for this update, I'm not really going to update during this trip because I have the phone on the seat beside me but that amount looks good

Yes, it has two usb power outlets in the base. Look at my pic when you get a chance, you can see one of them dangling out.

That clearance deal is amazing; I may just buy another one and stick it in the drawer against the future. I bought a 2-pack of 1' power cords, keep a spare in the glove box, and also a 3' cable for a passenger when needed. Works great.

Here's a pic of it w/me using Torque while driving.
