I have tried pretty much everything in my Cummins and Powerstrokes, and can't tell a huge difference, but notice quieter engine, no smoke, and a slight economy gain, and I like the idea of the extra lubricity. Never could tell a seat of the pants difference.
Our 01 TDI shows a lot more improvement with different adds, like Diesel Kleen.
Everyone on here preaches FP, but it isnt a cetane improver, and does it offer anything more than what the other adds like Stanadyne and Diesel Kleen do?
Terry has told me to try FP instead of the other adds I was using, including Neutra, Diesel Kleen, etc.
I want to try something new like Primrose or FP, and always thought FP was the cheapest add on the market, but primrose 405 is actually cheaper than FP per gallon of fuel treated.
There are so many different diesel fuel adds out there, and the more I read the more I get confused. Which direction should I go?
