Anyone recommend additives to prevent sticking valves, in a Kohler 7000 ohv twin?
Mystery oil? Seafoam? other?

Fresh gas! Do not purchase more gas than you will use up in 60 days. Old gas is what causes the valves to stick. No additive will convert bad/old gas to good usable gas. Stabilizer helps, some, but you will still need to use the gas up within 6 months (don't believe the claim that it will keep gas fresh for a year).

I think Top Tier gas is probably the best starting point, it has made a difference in my yard stuff. Marvel Mystery oil in at an ounce per gallon, might help...

Reslone was great at cleaning up sticking lifters in my father Oldsmobile. The ratio was 1 Q Reslone in 4Qs motor oil. Leave it in for ~ 30 minutes and drain the oil. The lifter noise was gone in the first 2 minutes. Ed

Some people think ATF is loaded with detergents.

You could also use a diesel rated oil.
Now those are loaded with detergents
