Best 0w20 for Mazda 2.5 non turbo GDI

Try Castrol GTX Full Synthetic 0W-20. I'm running this for the first time and I do notice just how smooth my car feels at cruising speed. I never noticed any difference before with a variety of Pennzoil Platinum, Castrol Edge, Mobil 1. I'm sold on this product.

Gokhan didn't speak highly of GTX Full Synthetic 0w20 in a post about Castrol EP in November 2022. Here's his quote:

"The HTFS/VII table lists all the Castrol 0W-20 flavors. The flavors to avoid are Castrol Edge High-Mileage 0W-20 SP and Castrol GTX Full Synthetic 0W-20 SP due to a thin base oil (BO) and a high viscosity-improver (VII) content."

I had picked up a few jugs of this oil in 0w20 and 5w20 when Walmart 'cleared' it last winter. I'll probably use them in my port injected Escape 2.5 rather than in our GDI cars.
