Want to use Castro 0w30. GC has been gone from the shelves in my area for awhile. New black bottle edge from Belgium is what replaced it. Thanks.

Already beat it to death in this thread:

http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/718643/FAQ_-_GC_(_German_Castrol_)#Post718643

(the last few pages have recent discussion about the new 0w40)

Yes, production of GC recently moved to Belgium. So I guess technically it's now BC, not GC.

On the other hand, production of Castrol 0w-40 has now moved to Germany.

Has the German Castrol been replaced with Cuban Catrol? :p Haha my phone's spell check always replaces Castrol with Castro.
