At first blush, being part of this study may have some appeal, controlled amounts of beer, looking at and judging chicks……but then you wonder what the ones that "need improvement" may look like…….man this beer tastes awful.
I think they're saying that ugly girls are still ugly no matter how many beers are in a man's system.

Sure, the girls may not actually look better when I'm drunk, but I certainly care much less about how they look at that point!
It's better when the girl has beer goggles.
