Beck Arnley Green is what?

Beck Arnley's "green concentrate" is what spec exactly? In their application chart, they list it for most asian cars 95 to about 00, which would have been conventional green, but also Mazda 95-current, Mazda's current green being FL-22, and also Hyundai 95-present; I have no idea what Hyundai specs.

So which is it?

It's an asian fleet friendly coolant, AFAIK. That's just from memory. I'm actually considering using it during my coolant swap with head gasket replacement.

Based on the B/A 'specific to' it's most likely a full strength Asian P-HOAT, as you point out similar to/same as, FL22 aka Motorcraft Specialty Green. Chances are next to nil that it is silicated original green, that would be a no no in current Mazda spec/applications.

Looking at Amazon, B/A Blue is the premix version of the green designed to match the color of Honda Type2.

Might be an Asian aftermarket option, but not readily available here, and shipping kills on Amazon. MC Specialty Green is ~ $27.50 at local Ford dealers in this area.

Concentrated B/A green is around $25 locally. It 'is' silicate free, IIRC.

Available at O'Reilley's. Silicate free, 2-eha free, 22.95 a gallon. Zerex Asian (only 50/50 mix)is available there too, 13.95 a gallon. Buy the time you get 2 Zerex, you might as well get the BA, and some distilled from the grocery. BA gets a buzz on some motorcycle chat boards.

~$24 here with special order 24 delivery to store. B/A Blue premix ~$19 about the same as Honda Type2 price also with 24 delivery to store. Same delivery for ZAF. Most I've seen O'R in store are different branded/house brand universal AF varieties.

I think the B/A Green and Red concentrate correspond to Toyota LL and other non-extended life Japanese P-OAT coolants, which are also available in concentrate. While the B/A Extended Life Blue and Pink premix correspond to the Toyota SLLC and Honda Blue and other extended life Japanese P-0AT, which are also available in premix. Supposedly while the two types differ in service life, they are compatible with each other and backwards compatible. Although, there doesn't seem to be much cost savings with the B/A OE-type coolants over getting the OE coolant from the dealer.

Now Ford speciality green correspond to Mazda Fl-22 and is an extended life coolant as far as I know. Being available as a concentrate it is probably a beter value than the others available as premix for about the same cost.

You can get FL-22 as a concentrate. Motorcraft specialty green comes in full strengh and 50/50. The Mazda bottled FL-22 only comes premixed.

I did not realize Mazda has two 'green' coolants, which after some searching, and according to this thread it appears they do. Talk about confusing. So I stand corrected on the B/A Green concentrate OEM similarity.

Also did not realize that FL22 is a 55/45 premix, according to several forum sources and pics.

Ugh, now I wonder if it's worth it going over to the extended life blue or just swapping over to the green, currently using AMM Prestone pre-mix. I suppose the concentrate green would allow the ease of regaining the proper ratio after drains/rinses with distilled to get rid of the Prestone crud.

I know so I opted for getting a box-6 bottles shipped of Peak Global. Everything included shipping averaged around less than $19/bottle but considering I got two Hondas. I could get away with two bottles for both cars and probably have some left over. Also the Peak changes color so, if I need to fill some up. It changes color with the factory fill. I don't think Zerex Asian or Beck/Arnley does that.
