Both played poorly week one. Both "think" their pretty good. Both showed some serious weaknesses last week.
This game should tell us a lot. I am WAY biased, but I'll take the Bears and the points, and hope to see a glimmer of hope for the Windy City moving forward!

If the Cowboys can stop Martz's simple screen passes, they can win this game with a single score.

Martz's offensive techniques are lively, but result in turnovers and interceptions more than any other [historically].
The Bears are playing below what they should be. They really DO have the horses.

And Detroit should file a criminal suit against the officials about that disputed touchdown!

It sure did take them a while to get some momentum in that game. Offensive line was really lousy, defense was fairly solid.

If last week's game was a "primadonna" wake up call for the Cowboys, the Bears are going to have a bad time.

If the Cowboys insist on shooting themselves in the feet repeatedly and do stupid things? Looks like another 5 and 11 year.

Redskins? You were given that many opportunities and you won by 6? Not good. Mc Nabb is going to need to keep his helmet on for the whole game on October 3rd because the Eagles fans are going to be whipping D-cell batteries at him the whole time. Must see TV!

It is easy to say "I told you so." AFTER the game.
Which is what I am doing now!

But really, the Bears DO have the horses. They were playing astoundingly bad for what they have.
Cutler is a fine QB. Just needs a bit more protection and a receiver that goes the right direction.
And Matt Forte is outstanding - win or lose.

Bears vs. Green Bay on a Monday night is next. It will be tough.
[ The Bears do not do well on Monday nights.]
Plus, GB is great and Aaron Rogers is superb.
