The click-click-click is a dead battery or bad connection... the question remains why is the battery dead but I think it's the battery's fault.
My 02 camry, first year for electric throttle, would get confused and stall if its battery was disconnected. Needed time to relearn the idle. I would think they fixed this by 09, but since your battery keeps "dying" it could be resetting the idle.
Next stop should be a battery/ alt test at autozone.
