Would anyone like a battery forum?
This could include auto/truck battery's and those used in green vehicles.
Deep cycle batteries used for off grid living and how to maintain and charge them most Efficiently.

Of course. I like to read about batteries. I was just at AutoZone looking at the duralast Platinum agm batteries wondering if they were any good. I'm not sure I want to spend the money for a northstar on a truck that doesn't get daily driven.

The desire for a battery forum was thought to be not enough so they added electrical to the mix so people could talk alternators too.

there have been a couple of suggestions to add or separate the sections in the forum. I would like to see brakes separate from transmissions. And a trailer section. Battery would be good also.

As a couple have already mentioned, the Automotive Electrical sub-forum covers batteries already. As it is, even that entire "electrical" forum isn't super active based on the number of posts so it hardly justifies splitting it.

I'm surprised there is not a sticky post at the top for something like this in the Automotive Electrical section.

Mine lasted just out of the 3 year warranty. They are nice that they don't gas and corrode things but their life was very short compared to others I have had.

Thanks for the response.
I searched the forum earlier for batteries with no luck.
It's very hard to find a particular thread when it's bundled in with others.
Can the various systems such as brakes, electrical & batteries be categorized??
