I'm looking to buy a new dehumidifier for mainly the basement which is ~ 1400ft2. It's unfinished but lots of good storage and want to keep it dry as moisture does enter the basement through the floor during heavy rain events such as 5" over 48 hours.

My main question is trying to decide between a Sante Fe or an AprilAire for the manufacturer. Sante Fe is ~ $50 less so price isn't a deciding factory. Warranty is 6yr vs 5yr so not a deciding factor either. Does anyone have good knowledge regarding quality/reliability of coils & compressor used by each?
