Here we are with round 3 of baking cookies in the car. Forgot I was going to do it today so it’s a late start at 3:50. Only 114 degrees this time and I drove the oven (Jeep) 30 min ago so it wasn’t quite as preheated.

Cookie dough is frozen homemade peanut butter. We shall see what happens!

There's got to be a recipe where cookies will bake at a lower temperature. Maybe some modifications can be made like more chocolate or less flour to get the perfect dashboard cookie?

I wonder if the fried egg on the sidewalk thing would work there?

At 10% humidity, 115 probably feels like 85F.

At least that's what it felt like in Scottsdale when I was there 2 years ago.
Humidity makes things less comfortable, but I don’t buy the “dry heat” stuff. Every time I’ve gone to NV or AZ and it has been really hot it’s still…hot… and then uncomfortable. 90 and dry I can buy… 75 and dry even better.

I don't know why, but I was totally fine with the weather in Scottsdale when I was there.

Well the egg cooking was a fail. The metal is 153 degrees. But the dirt in the cracks probably doesn't help.
