Bad Front Differential Bearings?

I am trying to chase down a drivetrain noise with my 98 Expedition 5.4 4x4.
Is this the sign of a bad differential bearing or is this type of play normal?
This is the drivers side showing pivot play

This is the passenger side, not so much pivot play, but lots of twisting play.

check them with an infrared thermometer after a drive.

Try pulling in/out. That play from the first video could be in the splines and could cause knocking, the other could be play in the differential or final drive.
