Daughter car needed an oil change, IDK who installed this filter, but does not look too bad. 5K Miles on filter in Honda 1.8L

Ignore any metallic particle ls used a reciprocating saw to cut open.

For ~5k miles on a jobber tier filter, looks ok. Based on pics and description it got the job done. And this application uses separate dome bypass, no combo valve.

I primarily use Wix regular and that is what went in it. As far as oil this time around my Frankenbrew Jug had just the right amount so that is what went in it, all “synthetic” mostly 0w-20, 5w-20, and some 5w-30 blend. This time the jug had (RGT, Mobil1, super tech) “Super 1 GT”. all SN plus rated.

I’m sure people will disagree but except for the newest car the rest get the frankenbrew jug when the jug is full and the they up for an oil change.

Car specs a 5w-20 and in the summer when It change it gets 5w-30.
