Does Valvoline VR-1 20w-50 have some esters in it that would make it a bad idea to use with autoRX. The car is my dual duty daily beater/race car and I have some left over 20w-50 that I'm not using from my other car.
I definately do have some sludge and also some seal leaks, so I would like to get the full benefit of the autoRX. If this does not work appropriately, I will either use Delo 400 15w-40 or Mystic JT-8 10w-40.
The oil I intend to use once my AutoRX applications are done is Rotella T synthetic for long drain intervals, so it doesn't really make sense to buy more oil if I don't have to.
