I love the line about some of their inspectors being 'finiky women'...LOL! Man, if you put that in an add today, you'd be hounded for making a sexist comment, people would lose their jobs, there'd be an investigation.... My how the times have changed! hehehe......

And the fact that VW is still using the Beetle as a "spokescar" (with a comic-opera German accent) in their ads, means that they know everyone will recognize it as a Volkswagen. Is any other car as recognizable everywhere in the world?
