Autolite Batteries

Anyone have any experience with them? My auto class uses them for in-class testing and experiments, but any actual field experience with these batteries? Prices are lower than Sears, but higher than Walmart. Their advantage is that they are easy to obtain for me and are available in the oddball 27F size.

No experience with them since the early '70s, when they had red caps and you watered them regularly.

But I think they're now made by Exide.

I propose this question to the administration here.

How about starting up a 'closed-for-discussion' header with inside hyperlink-listings for stuff like this? Just title/hyperlink each one with an appropriate name. This one would be titled under Batteries??????

I'm sure the list would grow each month.
