Well, I finally finished the treatments on my lawnmower. I ran the treatment for 30 hours of use, then ran 30 hours of strait 30w(kendal) oil. It's been run for 3 or so hours on 30wt Wolf Head HD oil and it's running better than ever. I never thought this would make such a big difference. It hasn't consumed any measurable oil and no longer smokes. It has also started by the 3rd pull every time I've tried lately. I can't wait to see what FP and LC will do for this tired old mower.

You may be asking yourself, why would this guy spend the time and money to RX a 1970's lawn mower. The answer is, it was free and is in good shape otherwise. It'd be nice to have a shiny new deere or lawnboy, but this old B&S motor on a murray deck does me well. All I've had to do with it is rebuild the carb... Why mess with what works?

I did my honda lawnmower too! Dang thing always burned a fair amount of oil, had it rebuilt under warrantee and it still burnt oil. Ran rx thru it and not more puffs of blue!!

Who'da though Auto-RX would help lawn machines so much? I'd do my edger and weed whacker but they're 2-cycle. I'll be running LC and FP in them tho. That should be interesting.

Also forgot to mention, when I pulled the head off after the rinse phase, there was no sludge and most of the carbon buildup was gone! That's 30 years or so of gunk and neglect all cleaned up! I picked up a new muffler for it the other day also, we'll see how quickly this one gets blackened. I should probably pick up a new spark plug too.

Will keep the results coming...

ARX worked wonders in my Quatum 5 HP as well. I think the big reason for the turn around in these motors is, cleaning up the ring packs.

I have got a new Deere rider with the 18 HP Kohler motor single cyclinder that is approaching 50 hours. I am going to run ARX in the next oil fill.
