Auto-RX pictures on website misleading???

I can't really add much to this, but doesn't the Mobil 1 website have the same pictures? I will try to find the URL.

Secondly, I myself have never used Auto RX, I don't try to judge a product without using it. I myself have used MMO and have had excellent results with it. I added about 3oz to my Power Steering reservoir and my whining has been all but eliminated. Added to my crankcase for full OCI's and noticed the inside of my engine(through the fill hole) getting cleaner and cleaner. The oil cap used to have gunk on it and its slowly been going away.

I will say this, I have not had it provide me with any mileage increases though. The truck seems to idle more freely, is quieter and seems to move with less lag. This is all butt dyno results though. But I will say the whining in the PS is gone, and the engine is quieter.

Well since you don't have pictures, before and after compression readings, and dyno results, you aren't going to be believed. LOL.......Just kidding......

It is this kind of testimony that holds the most value in my book!!! Thanks for posting!

I think we need a new topic "ARX haters". Its so funnny to me how many of you hate frank and how he may have treated you and automatically attach that to the reputation of the product. Listening to everyone discuss the conspiracy theories surrounding the before and after pics in laughable.

If you have good luck with your Walmart special MMO, GREAT happy for you. I love products that work, who doesn't That's one of the main reasons I use Redline and have going on fifteen years. I have performed many tear downs and seen the results with my eyes. I don't trust what some yahoo on the web tells me. That said, I have used ARX and it did do what it was intended to do. Is it the end all product, no. I have used others and they failed to work. MMO was not one of them! Do I make it my pathetic mission in life to trounce the product and make up lies and assume things that I am not privy to, NO.

We should all just agree to disagree. If you want to be a MMO fan like everyone else here on bitog, then jump on that bandwagon. If not cool. But until you have some hard data to back up that, said product does not work, do us all a favor and save the negativity.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but hard data to back up claims about any product not working is tough. This is a general statement and not targeted at A-Rx or any product. But if someone has a lifter tick, and product xyz didn't silence it what other data other than the fact that the noise is still there can be provided? Or the person who still has a leak, or is still using oil. All we have is that person's word. I think what AD was trying to say is testimony from an average person, stating something he observed that wasn't off the wall is something he can believe. This is the internet so everything has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Thanks for your two cents, now back to the matter at hand.

Number 3? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Are there only two people on bitog who believe that Frank was approached by an oil firm for a buyout? Number 1 and 2 might need to pull out a few of their alter egos to join the list if no real people can be found!

So why do you continue?

Nice to know you can't prove your allegations........ Maybe I expect too much?

I just want you to understand what it's like to be on the other side of the argument. Sprintman comes on here saying that frank had oil companies trying to buy him out. This is something that's been laughed out of threads for longer than you have been a member here. Now, I (and most of the other members) think it's fabricated. I'm being asked to prove that something never happened? What answer do you expect? I don't think there was ever a dinosaur that could talk. It never happened. I can't prove that it never existed any more than I can prove that frank never sat down with ExxonMobil, Chevron, and BP to sell them a formula. They're both ludicrous ideas.

Just so you know, you look silly asking me to prove something never happened. Like a child who follows every answer he's given with "WHY?" This is why we need more people on your team. It's just not a fair match.

Whatever, man. Let's see those minutes from Frank's meeting.

I'm sure Australians are all wonderfully intelligent model citizens with their intelligence only matched by their attractiveness.

Can I get some Texan backup here please?

I don't understand all this banter about Auto RX..really it's getting silly. Those who have USED this product and like it, aren't going to be convinced otherwise...understandable. Those who knock it and haven't TRIED IT are wasting their time posting *arguments* on the negatives. When these attacks become nasty and *personal*, it's really going too far. Discussion is fine...no problem there, but this thread has taken on a life of it's own and it's pretty sad.
Just my take.

For someone who wasn't going to "touch" this one, the green hornet sure got sucked into the vortex.
Now for my testimonials, I have no knowledge whatsoever of overtures to Frank and really don't give a rat's patoot as long as I can still get the product. I've used ARX with notable success. I've had 15-20 psi increases in compression on a 5.7L in a '94 Suburban with 259K miles, as well as solving some leaking seal issues. It has noticeably improved the performance of my '01 F250 with 167K miles that had a questionable maintenance history before I got it. Oil usage had been reduced from one quart to less than half a quart every 1,500 miles. I'm sure it doesn't work for everybody, but it's worked like a champ for me.

It must have been your imagination.

You not only committed a mortal sin, but made his list.....

Now all you have to do is provide all the data, including videos of you taking compression tests, engine tear downs, ring status, etc, both before and after......

(Actually, I'm glad it worked for you. Now if that boy would just provide proof of his claim...)

+1
Why Oh Why is there so much 'passion' about some stupid oil additive?
I think it really Sad that some people have nothing better to do than Cheer
lead or Deride this product. (look at their post histories)
Get a life!
Or just quit the name calling, we're supposed to be adults!

I put him on ignore. No time for those who lack credibility.

Maybe I lack credibility too?. Just because I pay A$660 a case for RX doesn't mean I'm credible, I might just be besotted by the aroma like the wintergreen fragrance in MMO does to people?

too much pride here, from bashing a product to bashing whole groups of people and land masses

ARx has not destroyed a single vehicle, so basically you're trying to prevent people from spending their money unwisely.

that's like telling people watching TV is wasting their lives, or Big Macs are not good for you, it's a personal choice. I still think ARx works because something turned my oil black as night when i use it (three times now). the only other product i've seen do that is LC20, and both are esters.

i've not tried MMO, maybe that will turn my oil super black in a short amount of time also, then i will assume that it also has cleaning ability. if evidence is required, someone should start a thread titled, Please post your compression test results with ARx. i know it's been done, but haven't seen a thread like that

MMO = 30% Varsol, 70% 30wt oil, wintergreen fragrance, not for my engine(s). Re RX compression look on here for Aarons posts, he was a rabid Frank hater who posted his compression tests later. RMS13 might help you dind them.

You're an idiot.

There, now it's on your level.
