Auto-Rx Cleaning #1 Complete

I finished the first Auto-Rx cleaning in my 1999 Chevy Suburban (5.7L with 104,000 on it). When I drained it, the oil was very dark - but it always is. However, I did notice some small chunks as well. They looked very similar to what others have posted via pictures.

I'm now in rinse phase #1. When that's complete, I will report on it and move on to cleaning round #2.

My (95 BMW 525i/118,000 miles) results with the clean and rinse cycles were very similar. I noticed small flakes only in my oil filter. Nothing obvious in the oil.

That's good news. I'm glad my sitation isn't out of the norm. Any additional thoughts/suggestions?

The small chunks could be from the Rx cleaning your ring packs.
