I just bought a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and it has this stuff. Please explain, can I wax over it? It was a short time since being treated,, does it last? Thank you

You probably can. It sounds like one of those dealer markup services and get them big bucks.

Give it a good wash with Dawn and then follow with your preferred LSP.

From the site:
The Equipment
Automated car polisher endorsed by most major car manufacturers to perform two-step process.
Polishing machine has 20,000 soft, cloth-like appendages working paint protection products into the vehicle.
Covers hood, roof, & lower panel.
The Complete Job - the machine polishes with uniform quality and consistency with no streaks, swirls, or burns.

FAQ: Can I still wax my vehicle?
Answer: After having the Premier Paint Protection II applied to your vehicle, there is no need to wax. However waxing your vehicle will not harm the paint protection or void your warranty. We also recommend regularly washing your vehicle using a soft cloth carwash.

It looks just a large drive through car wash that applies their proprietary product.
