AUDI’S F1 ENTRY PLAN AND HOW IT’S TAKEN A TWIST By Scott Mitchell TheRace.com

I don't think the manufacturers get stuck for that much if they have enough contributing co-sponsors. I recently read Alfa Romeo was spending about 40 million on their team even though running a team cost many times more than that.

I'd like to see VAG brand their team good old VW. An awful lot of F1 fans are regular people that don't drive a Benz.

Toyota was in it for awhile. Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli drove for them. They had a pretty good F1 program going. But like so many teams, they were spending millions, and not going anywhere, so they quit. F1 takes A LOT of resources, (people as well as dollars).

I'm surprised Haas has stayed in it this long. It was reported Gene Haas was putting $30 MILLION of his own money into the team every year. That gets old fast.
