ATF+4 hard to find locally

You experienced the confluence of online sales displacing brick & mortar sales of a relatively low-demand item likely only ordered in 6 packs in the first place. It's common for any shop to run out of ATF+4 or Mercon V.
It may have been waiting for you at "the next store"; the one you didn't go to. Next week it might be back.
My last 2 ATF purchases have been online.

My local AutoZone shows to be out of the stp but has Castrol in stock. What about maxlife? Does it cover ATF+4?
I've used gallons of MaxLife with success but would stick with ATF+4 if my Mopar called for it.
I’ve heard of people using it, but I personally just want to stick with the spec’d stuff.
Not the same but I put maxlife in our Toyota and it works well.
Where ATF+4 is required, I'd use Redline C+ if the car is out of warranty, which has to be bought online anyway
