I agree with you and it should be but in reality this is just not the case, most people in his trade have the "above the law" attitude. I could say more but don't want it turning political and get @Zee09's post locked.Just because somebody is a political candidate, the law applies equally.

I am always 100% kind and courteous...yes sir, no sir, thank you sir...etc. I get a ticket every single time. I remember, after getting a ticket for 7 mph over, I said "thank you sir" as the officer went back to his car, and he stopped, turned around, and said "don't thank me, son".
