Are the new Toyota 3.3L V-6 the same as..

Are the new Toyota 3.3L V-6 engines the same sludge monsters as the 3.0L? I know it is hard to tell now since they just came out in the Sienna and RX330. Is the engine design the same as the 3.0L except for the increased cc's??
