Archery high tech

Fascinating and amazing. But, I must be a Luddite because I still shoot a recurve.
 
A compound doesn't need as much power to draw and once at full length it takes a lot less effort to hold than a regular recurve, in this I too must be a Luddite!

They require the same effort to pull back, but let off ~80% at full draw.

I miss shooting my bow... I need to dig it out.
 
I haven't shot a bow since I was 9. We had these cheesy looking fiberglass bows at some sleep away camp. I do remember the safety protocols.

As a kid there I'd look through the catalog from the company Consumers Distributing. They had lots of archery equipment including mostly compound bows and bladed arrows. I think they also had lawn darts.
