Apple and Tesla to merge?

I don't buy it.

A whole bunch of Apple integration in Teslas? Sure. But Apple buying Tesla? That doesn't seem likely.

Apple has a ton of cash, and lacks a visionary leader. Elon Musk could be that leader. A merger seems like a good idea.

They're not going to merge, it wouldn't make any sense.

They ARE going to build a lithium battery factory as a joint venture, because that DOES make sense.

My Mustang has some sort of Microsoft OS in the entertainment stack, and it's never given me any trouble. It does some nifty stuff, too.
