Has anyone tried 2 cans of Lubromoly MOS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment in their automatic trans? If so, fess up, I need a good chuckle.....

Oh I'm not trying to do anything. As for what would happen, I think the transmission would act like it has a 7,500 rpm stall converter installed, and quit working altogether after a few minutes.

+1.......... I honestly think the results would be VERY bad due to: 1. It may not even make it down the dipstick fill hole tube. MOS2 stains/bonds like ink, and plates metal. It is as a stain.. a very good stain, like Minwax. 2. IT MIGHT NOT BOND WITH THE ATF RIGHT and MAY MESS IT UP (*LOGIC THINKING. It is designed to go in MOTOR OIL.) 3. If you want smooth shifts in an old trans, top up with a half quart MMO and a half quart New ATF. MMO makes transmissions shift smooth. I have a habit of topping up ALL my transmissions to basically one quart overfull, not so much just a half quart, but i use actual trans fluid. I will perhaps put half MMO and half a quart ATF in. MMO helps ATs shift smoother. So does actual ATF. Either or. I would not put MOS2 in an AT. For additives, id check LubeGard Red or a Seafoam trans additive, if you must (questionable on the Seafoam "Trans tune.") r just line-flush your trans and you can put in MMO or whatever you want.........................................

Pretty sure most manuals say to NOT overfill the AT. How did you determine that this does not cause issues? Does it burp out of the AT over time? Im interested, because most any AT car Ive worked on has been nearly impossible to get a good read on the dipstick after an ATF change. If being 1 qt over is NBD, then great!
