Anyone run a motorcycle air filter on your lawn tractor?

I just got the idea,as the blower housing that contains the air filter is showing its age on my 2010 Craftsman lawn tractor.

They're probably about as good as a foam filter and worse than a paper filter, I'd suggest sticking with some type of paper filter if that's what it originally came with.

Yeah I'm just mainly interested in elimination of the old air blower housing.My thinking is,at least I will have a air filter.

That makes sense,so I will just look into purchasing a used blower housing that is in better shape.
