Anyone know how to replace ignition coil contact springs?

Hi all. When I replaced the torn boots on my coils, the kit came with new springs. Does anyone know how to remove/install these things? These are the Denso coil packs that are on most Toyota's since the early 2000's.

Did you try to unscrew them? You know, just as if they were threaded in there. I've done that with many springs in the past.

No, but that makes sense. I just pulled on them a little. Thanks.

Well, that didn't work. They just spin freely in there. They may not be serviceable, but I wonder why new springs were included.
