I'm considering buying a wireless router and PC Card made by Buffalo technologies. My current wired router is a Linksys, but they've been getting a bad rap with the newer versions of the WRT54G. Here are some links:

I've had their NAS (Network Attached Storage) for about a year. It's been working fine, alas a bit slow, but that is to be expected over LAN. The initial firmware looked like a beta though. Thankfully within a month of me buying it, they released an improved firmware version. Customer support was generally good.

I don't know about their wireless products though. I'm also looking for a robust wired router that can handle large number of p2p connections without getting bogged down. Despite running the HyperWRT firmware on my WRT54G (v2.2, so it's an older one), and using lower QoS priority for p2p, regular Internet browsing still suffers a lot.

I have one of the older wrt54g's and its been great..

Buffalo tech is like anyone else they have some good stuff
and some garbage. I wouldnt let the name itself scare me away from any of their products.

You do get somewhat what you pay for.. ie a 120$ router
like the rangemax is better than a 40$ dlink
