Greetings members: I have a 1994 Montero 3.5 and considering trying a Hengst H13W01 oil filter for my application. Anyone have opinions/pics of one. I currently use the Fram Ultra. From what I know, Hengst is a German company, but the filter is made in Turkey.

I e-mailed Hengst. Here is the reply: The Mitsubishi Montero is also known as the Mitsubishi Pajero.
According to our online catalog, the oil filter for this car H13W01.

I'm not familiar with that specific filter, but Hengst is a huge OEM supplier so they are perfectly capable of building a quality product.

If you do decide to try the Hengst, please cut it open for us 
Get two, so that you can cut one virgin filter, and the other you can use and then cut at the end of the OCI 
But I'd only try them if the price was good. Otherwise, just get Wix or Fram Ultra

I use them all the time, OEM quality. Use without worries for the OEM interval if you run a good oil.
