I've got 3 lathes at work, but what you want done really requires a CNC lathe to do a nice, quick job. We've got an ancient manual radiusing fixture but it's not that great and takes a while to set up. Plus hand-grinding negative rake tools...
Plus you probably want it polished, right? As-turned finishes on brass isn't typically very shiny.
Yes, I would prefer polished. The top portion above the rubber o-ring unscrews from the bottom. The top portion, that needs the new contour, has a threaded male stem which could be held by a collet that accepts .55" diameter stock.
