Hi all,

I picked up some pumpkin bread mix, and had thought about adding cranberries to the mix to make a great pumpkin bread. I bbq alot but baking is not my strong point as the altitude where I live causes issues. I live at 5050 ft (1.53km) above sea level. Does anybody have a great pumpkin bread recipe, or something similar? Please share, as I'd be interested.

I'm not a huge cranberry fan However.... I've found a few recipes where the tartness of the cranberry seems to offset the sweetness of the pumpkin bread.

I like the idea of adding cranberries. I'd use dried cranberries and I'd soak them in bourbon or rum for a few days before use. You can look up basic rules on how to adjust for baking st high altitude.

I haven't had this in a while. I remember really enjoying it in the past.
