Anyone familiar with Maxxis car tires?

Anyone know anything about this tire? Thinking of it as a possible rear tire on my Can Am. Currently running Pirelli P4 and previously General Altimax. OEM on Kias. Liked them so much bought a new set from dealer. I would consider them comparable to Dunlop, Uniroyal, Kelley, ...

They are big in the off road world. I prefer Mickey Thompson though.

They have a reputation as one of the best trailer tires. I just put 4 new ones on my travel trailer.

They used to be better known as Cheng Shin Rubber of Taiwan. I remember they used to sell a lot of bicycle tires. Back then they weren't high end, but they were reliable and generally good quality. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheng_Shin_Rubber
