Sure didn't help the plastic intake manifold gaskets.Because it's better than conventional green and is what the later models use.

Probably the Latest & Greatest Green Formula. You could always contact Zerex and ask them .Tempting. How can that be good for 5 years 150,000 miles when the traditional green specs were something like 2-3 years 24-36K miles?
Now I see, and it's a bit misleading. From the Valvoline website,Probably the Latest & Greatest Green Formula. You could always contact Zerex and ask them .
I used Pentofrost A2 in a '92 88 to get the appropriate green color in a long life coolant. After some research I found it to be the only long life full strength coolant made at the time, but it was spec'd for Hyundai/Kia. Wonder if that car has any coolant related issues now. What color is Peak 10x?

Yes I forgot about that. And in 4 months I'll probably ask a similar question all over again.Which extended life coolant for a '95 Buick Skylark?
Currently has the traditional green stuff and I will be doing a complete flush so I can start from scratch. Will not be using the same old school green as I want something with longer life. This 1995 was a split year with the early cars getting the green coolant before changing to Dexcool later...bobistheoilguy.com
You started a Thread about this 4 Months ago, and then started another 1 today, Hello Car54
What is ironic is that I posted in your other Thread.
Ok.......what do the other Coolant manufactures 5 year guarantee protect against ?Now I see, and it's a bit misleading. From the Valvoline website,
So it's not that it's a long life coolant that will last 5 years 150,000 miles between changes, it's just that it guarantees engine failure caused by freeze-ups or boil-overs, which if you keep the correct concentration, will never happen.
- 5 YEAR/150,000 MILE GUARANTEE protects against engine failure caused by freeze-ups or boil-overs
Not sure but GM cars in the last 10 or 15 years have a 5 year 150K coolant change interval. And from the AC Delco website on Dexcool,Ok.......what do the other Coolant manufactures 5 year guarantee protect against ?

In case it's above your head, Dexcool played a part in the failure of the plastic intake gaskets.
Go police someone else!
This puzzles me, what would anyone care what their antifreeze looks like?I want the factory look of the orange Dexcool.
Maybe I have show car standards for those kinds of things. And no, it's not a show car. This puzzles me, what would anyone care what their antifreeze looks like?
The show judges will give you points for having the correct color coolant.... But take away points for the Walmart battery.Maybe I have show car standards for those kinds of things. And no, it's not a show car.
As soon as an AC Delco pops up at the junkyard, I'll grab it.The show judges will give you points for having the correct color coolant.... But take away points for the Walmart battery.
Would a brand new AC Delco battery suffice, or are you worried the new-style logo on it will turn off the judges at the Concours d'Elegance? As soon as an AC Delco pops up at the junkyard, I'll grab it.
