Now I have heard about some here adding one qt. of redline with mobil 1 but how about doing this but with GC instead? Would the moly from the redline help(if this is even possible..LOL

) or hinder?

The only reason I'm asking as I have a 3800 S/C

and I'm probably just going to run the GC by itself but I was wondering if any one has tried this or if redline has o.k. something like this as they have with the M1.

I've mixed in M1 15w-50 with GC with no ill effects. The small percentage of M1 mixed in with GC quieted my cold starts, so I'm a happy camper. Some people were mixing Redline in with Delvac 1 to achieve some moly. I'd say mixing in Redline with GC should be fine. No worries.

I know on the bottle it says it is compatible with other oils but I just wanted to know if anyone has mixed these specific two oils together or is it overkill. I was just thinking that the extra moly would be a "backup" for those moments when my lead foot drops.

I'm probably just going to just stick with sraight GC as this mix seems to be a waste/overkill.
