Any Negatives to Mixing M1?

Other then not knowing what wt. you will end up with, are there any negative effects of mixing M1? Also curious if all M1 formulas other then D1 are ok to mix and fully compatible with one another?

On the oil bottle it reads compatible with synthetic and convential oils, more or less .All sae oils are compatible with each other .That is the way they are made.

I'm currently running M1/D1 mix in my Mazda turbo. Definitely a lot quieter than the 10W30 dino I had in previously.

Sprintman, did it lower your oil consumption considerably?

No but 0W40 TS probably burning off (Its an old engine). When I ran straight D1 it was better in that respect.
