I love the truck but wish the mileage could be a bit better. It is an F150 Platinum. Need it for a business purpose for now.
Today I tested it in mostly city stop and go, I am in the low 13mpg range. I was Very easy on the gas. I am going to run that FI canister with 50/50 seafoam and gas next. Thinking of doing plugs too, they are 50K old. I installed new coils.

But at close to 200k mi, it runs like a new truck. Maybe I will trade it in for a Powerboost

Guess this is a good long term motor.

Also, it was officially backspeced to 5W30 (cap says 5W20). I had it state inspected at Ford and the tech said that is what you should be using. He said he likes Pennzoil Platinum High mileage.

Maybe some new O2 sensors. New tires might help, but then you are balancing how long to pay off the expense.

Might just be the nature of the beast? big truck and all.
