Is there anyone here thoroughly engaged in the fanatic DVD burning hobby that might be able to answer some basic questions for me? I might consider doing this through PM's so as not to bore everyone else or let on my embarrassing to me lack of knowledge.

Very good free software for ripping (ahem, protected DVDs), creating ISO images (and then burning)

(after creating the ISO image, then it doesn't matter what burning software you use - you probably have something already on your computer anyway.)
