Which Oil Would You Use?

Background:

Currently maintaining two cars, the car in my signature and now my gf's '03 Civic EX. The STI's oil will be changed tonight with the below-listed AMSOIL Signature Series from my stash; this will be the second OCI with Amsoil. I have a leftover gal of Rotella T6 that I used before the Amsoil in the STI that has been sitting for six months + now. If this UOA with Amsoil justifies sticking with Amsoil over Rotella T6, I may stick with it instead of going back to T6.

The gf's Civic is due this weekend. Her car has 112k miles and does not burn any oil. Considering the leftover gal of T6 and the fact that AAP is currently running their oil change special on all Castrol products:

1. Castrol Edge 0W-20 with Bosch Distance+ filter - $33

I'd run this for a year or so - 10-12k miles based on her driving habits - but would be more than happy to extend much longer depending on how nicely the UOA turns out.

2. Syntec blend and Purolator P1 filter - $21

With her car and habits, this might be more than adequate for a year without extending and UOA.

3. Leftover T6 with P1 filter - $cost of filter

This is what I'm leaning toward, honestly.

I'm currently 55% for using the Rotella, 30% for Edge and 15% for Syntec Blend, but the advice of some convincing BITOGERs might sway my opinion. You have < 20 hrs, gentleman - GO! TIA

The Edge plan sounds like a really good one...the RTS will just be too thick for a Civic - you'll save a fair chunk of gas running a 0W-20 for a year vs. a 5W-40.

MaxLife is Valvoline, so it's not on sale, not a XW-20 and not on the list of oils I'm considering. She's also not dripping anywhere, let alone leaking or burning any oil, so a High Mileage oil isn't necessary.

I'd love to hear more opinions on those oils I've listed, but I think I'll go with addyguy's suggestion and run the Castrol EDGE 0W-20 for now.

If the Amsoil doesn't perform well enough in my STI to warrant the extra cost I'll be able to use the T6 in another 6 months or so. If not, I'm sure I'll find some use for it. Any one in the SE CT area want to buy an open 0.8-0.9 gallon jug of Rotella for $10?

My picks would be in exactly the order you've listed them.
Save the T6 for the Sube, which would be well served with it.
The Honda will do well on a light oil.
You could even use Castrol EDGE 5w30, since it is not much thicker than a thick 20.
