Update:

Seems like I've fixed the issue with two new o rings sent to me by Trav. It was a pain to remove the o rings in one piece to be able to measure them and it was a pain getting them back in correctly. So far so good though. No more leaks. Will monitor it this week.

I did one of these on a VW a few years ago, there is an O ring(s) in the metal fitting, you can get it out with a pick and replace it.
This is one for an example, it may not be in your fitting. You can get one commercially or contact me.
