This sample was already out when the Makuloco video was posted. I didn't get soot measured, but I have a hard time believing that's a problem when everything else looks so clean. I may do two samples next time and send the additional one out for soot measurement. Until then, I'll keep doing what I'm doing. This vehicle has never seen the inside of a shop. It's been just me swapping out fluids and rotating the tires so far.

I agree! Interesting that the Visc is out of range. Since there is no trend of additional wear going on they are requesting 12k miles.

I have a feeling there were lies from the customer in that video. Many people do screw up but won't be honest about it because they don't wanna feel bad. Doubt that following the olm and using the appropriate oil caused that ecoboost to become that neglected. I'm sure it will cause some varnish but not sludge it and clog the screens.
