Alan is Al's son. Interesting is the SAAB and VW recommendation. (XL)

The recommendation for SAAB and VW/Audi should be the ACEA, A3/B4 rated, 5w-40 and not the A1/B1 rated, XL Series oils. I have a number of local customers who run Amsoil in the 3.0L toyota engine with 7k-10k intervals and excellent long term results. I also think the 5k interval for VW/Audi is VERY conservative.
