Impressive...

The TBN isn't low just yet. You could have run it into the 2's before a change with a great margin of safety.

1) What engine is it?
2) When did you put it in? (Just before the winter?)
3) What kind of driving patterns?
4) Did you use an EAO Filter, and did you change it all during the run?

Looks pretty good to me.
TBN is fine as long as it's above 1.0
I don't think TBN depletion is linear, it might stay around 3 for several thousand miles.
Did the oil stay in grade?
This a 3.3L or 3.8L engine?

Hello,

I drove my Dodge Gr Caravan 2002 3.3 liters from April 21st 2008 (131000 km) to April 28th 2009 158000 km.

I use my Dodge mostly to deliver coffee to Hotel, restaurant and other customers. i also opperate many Coke, Pepsi distributor machines

Forgot,

I had to add about 1.2 liters of oil in febuary. So i think that was good for 27000 km (17000 miles)

Filter was a Ea042 and was only change with the oil at 131000 km

Great one year OCI.

If the sample was taken on a short start, fine ..but I'd work on the 1.7% fuel. Even in delivery/taxi-like service it should be lower. Pick up some PI from your dealer.

As far as I read, the iron will increase as the oil usage mileage, but what is the threshold of iron considered high ?
Just wondering why the last few SSO UOA iron seems as high as M1, and > M1 EP ?

I understand that the 1.7% of fuel is a bit high...maybe i have a leaking injector!

The previous oil change before the SSO 0W30 was on ASL 5W30 and now it's on Amsoil ATM 10W30.

I'll try the P.I. injector cleaner a few this over the next year to see if it change the % of fuel in the oil...!

I did not had time yet to put my by-pass filter system...i might keep it for my MKV TDI 2006

This oil held up extremely well considering the fuel dilution. Tbn is good.
