Amsoil SSO - 0W-30

Hi
ATM oil in my Honda Fit running at 9532k for about 7mths now. Would like to change to SSO or ASL and run for a year. Daily mileage to and from work about 30k and usually weekend not driving. Weather here is hot & humid and can these oil last for a year. I would want the best oil to give the best protection. Any comments please and many thanks for any inputs.

SSO is a very stout oil and should be fine for your 1 year interval. How many miles per year though? Depending on the miles per year you may want to get a UOA if possible.

I have sso in my element and its great but I'm just going to go 6 months or 10-15k havent decided but I dont really feel comfortable running for a year. It would probably be fine but Im a little ocd.
