3.8 TBN remaining on Amsoil Signature 5w30 oil after 19,696 miles in 41k Ford 2.7L EcoBoost in Central Florida. The engine doesn't use any oil.

Yes, this was done several years ago. Don't come here much and realized this section existed and I had this data. Truck has 126k miles on it now. Is new formulation considered "better"? Yeah, I know, I need to read up. I guess with my DI Turbo motor that's a thing...

How does the truck run now? The engine must be a great design. Amsoil could use the UOA as marketing for the oil.

It runs great. LOVE this motor... Doesn't use any oil, has plenty of power for towing, and knocks down solid gas mileage in the truck. Glad to see it available in new Bronco.

Report looks good ~~ that 2.7 is much easier on oil than the 3.5.

I'm certainly glad SOMEone is using Amsoil to its potential!!

What kind of usage? Any towing? And would that amount of silicon just be leftover sealant from the truck still being fairly new?

How many miles are the averages based on?

I give you some serious credit for having the pair to drive a 2.7 ECO THAT long of an OCI. Do you have any concerns with long term timing chain wear going that long of an OCI?

Are you still doing 20K mile oil intervals? Thanks for the info I appreciate people posting facks.

I have the 3.5 engine why do you say it's harder on oil. Both have turbos. Thanks
