Amsoil Series 3000 9500mi. Blazer 4.3

Put 9500 miles on this oil, was in wife's Blazer for almost 1 year. I think I did OK on wear. TBN of 2.8 I made the one year before the miles but thats alright I dont mind crawling under the rig every 12 months.
Amsoil Series 3000 5w30 BE-90 Bypass, Wix 51036 full flow, LC & FP used pretty religously. This is the best sample from this rig so far. Oil actually remained a 30 weight.

I'm no expert but the oil looks like it is holding up very good. The SI seems to be a little high I think.

I agree KW. I think this oil is working well in this 4.3. I like the annual oil changes.

Numbers look pretty good for a GM 4.3, best I think I've seen around here. Nice regimen.

Potassium and sodium bear watching. Maybe add some GM coolant tabs.

Where is the Mo coming from?

My guess is it was left over from the Chevron Supreme I had used as an Auto RX rinse. The Supreme had like 238ppm of moly in it.
What do the coolant tabs do?

They help to seal any small leaks in the engine coolant system.

I wanted to add that I did replace the air filter at the same time as the oil change. The Blazer had used a NAPA gold for this run of oil and I replaced with an AC Delco. We'll see if it makes a difference.
